SAMBA is a front-end to POLKA from the Software Visualization group at Georgia Tech. It is an interpreter that reads commands in ASCII text and executes them in the POLKA environment. This allows educators to mark up any algorithm in any language in order to generate an animation from it. See also POLKA.
