Description |
This is a collection of AVs (which eventually should each get their own catalog entry). AVs included for deterministic and non-deterministic finite automata, PDAs for various languages, and a couple of Turing machine examples. The DFA and NDFA AVs let you construct your own automata. The animation shows the automata going through its various transitions, with various highlighting of what is going on. |
||||
Evaluation |
The AVs look very nice. Constructing your own DFAs and NDFAs are a bit cumbersome. Being animation only makes it hard to absorb what is going on, since user does not control the pacing. But this should still be of some value in understanding what is happening. |
