Interactive tutorial on basic programming concepts. There are is a substantial collection of activities for a number of common programming languages, including C++ and Java. |

Evaluation |
Students are given a series of exercises. There is a lot of feedback on how well they do. There is a certain learning curve in figuring out how to do the activities themselves, and personally I find the timer very off-putting. But otherwise, this seems a good mechanism for drilling in the basics of things like evaluating expressions, basic language constructs, pointers, etc. |
