AlgoViz Project News
April, 2009: During this month we initiated the AlgoViz Portal. Most of our "what's new" updates and changes will be reported there from now on.
March 4, 2009: The first meeting of the AlgoViz Project Steering Committee was held in Chattanooga, TN (in conjunction with SIGCSE'09), supported by NSF. Attending were: A.J Alon, Mike Clancy, Steve Edwards, Scott Grissom, Ville Karavirta, Eileen Kraemer, Myles McNally, Tom Naps, Hari Narayanan, Susan Rodger, and Cliff Shaffer. See the Meeting Minutes
March 2, 2009: Guido Roessling has contributed an internationalization library to the OpenAlgoViz repository.
January 2009: OpenAlgoViz SourceForge site seeded with the Virginia Tech Union/Find AV and the Virginia Tech Hashing Tutorial.
December 5, 2009: We have received word that our CCLI Phase I proposal will be funded by NSF, beginning January 2009. This project will run for two years, and its purpose is to support community development efforts in support of Algorithm Visualization. The AlgoViz Wiki is a major component in those efforts. See the Proposal.
July 2008: OpenAlgoViz SourceForge site created.
Summer 2008: Major updates to the catalog, many entries rated.
Fall 2006/Spring 2007: Initial creation of the wiki and the catalog.
